Islandpferdepension Familie Eckhoff is an Icelandic-horse livery yard in Marxen, south of Hamburg on the edge of the Lüneburger Heide. Boarding ranges from group keeping in an open stable through to individual boxes in a round barn, with a separate option for stallions. The yard is run by agricultural engineer Eva-Barbara Eckhoff and a trained team, who also advise owners on feeding and horse care. Riders have an arena, guest paddocks and extensive hacking country directly on the doorstep. An IPZV-qualified trainer offers horse schooling and riding instruction on site.
