Ich własnymi słowami.
Rio's Refuge is an equine rescue that takes in horses from the slaughter pipeline and from owner surrenders. Rescued horses go through rehabilitation programs focused on their physical and emotional recovery. The organisation provides permanent sanctuary for horses with special needs or in need of retirement, and finds forever homes for rehabilitated horses through adoption. It also offers community education on the horse slaughter trade and equine welfare.
