AZ High Mountain Trail Rides offers guided horseback trail rides through the Coconino National Forest near Mormon Lake, Arizona. The rides run from May 15th to September 30th, through ponderosa pine forest and along Mormon Lake. Options range from a 60-minute trail ride to a 2-hour Lakeview ride, suitable for beginners, families and experienced riders. Each ride starts with a brief instruction session from the wranglers, and the horses are not run, cantered or trotted on the trails.
