High Sierra Pack Station is a family-owned pack station in the Western Sierras, operating since 1948. Its pack trips let guests ride in and out on experienced trail horses, or hike while the station packs gear in and out. Guests can also book an all-inclusive pack trip with their own cook and packer/tour guide, moving between back-country locations. Shorter rides of an hour, a half day or a full day are offered for visitors in the area. The station has two locations, Lake Thomas Edison and Florence Lake.
