Healing Winds is a therapeutic riding center that has run its program since 1989. It offers riding lessons combined with relaxation and play time for people with disabilities such as ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis. The program uses the movement of the horse to support physical, mental, social and behavioral goals. Donations and sponsorships help cover facility upkeep, feed and safety equipment, as therapeutic riding is not covered by health insurance.
