Reitpädagogik am Ruschwegen offers horse-assisted pedagogical and therapeutic sessions for children, young people and adults, with or without disabilities. The approach is based on remedial education and focuses on social integration, behavioural change and self-experience. Sessions can be held one-to-one with an individual support plan, or in small groups. Work is done with the horse in hand or on the lunge, with the horse acting as a co-therapist. Sessions can also take place at external institutions such as kindergartens or care homes.
