Hof Osmers is a family farm at Bockhorst near Oyten, worked by the same family since 1749 and breeding Hanoverian horses since 1967. The broodmares come from long-established family lines and are covered exclusively by top stallions from the Celle state stud. Foals and young horses grow up with close daily human contact alongside the farm's suckler-cow herd. Feed is grown on the farm's own 70 hectares of arable land, so very little industrially produced feed is used.
