Islandpferdegestüt Kernhof is an Icelandic horse stud in Lower Franconia, owned by the Werner family since 1999. It keeps around 50 Icelandic horses and offers boarding in group open-front stables with paddocks and pasture, plus single boxes for riding horses, guest horses and sick horses. The yard breeds young horses and runs riding lessons, with an indoor arena, a turnout oval track and a lunge circle. It also hosts courses and IPZV riding and lunging badge exams.
