The Good Farrier is a mobile farriery service based at Burgwedel in the Hanover region, run by Tobias Günther. He came to the trade from an industrial background after developing an interest in equine biomechanics and qualified as a state-certified farrier. The service covers barefoot trimming, conventional shoeing and orthopaedic shoeing worked out for the individual horse. Each horse is assessed and discussed with the owner before a shoeing plan is chosen, and visits are made to the horse's own yard.
