Reiterverein Südharz e.V. is a riding club at Bartolfelde in Bad Lauterberg, founded in 1972 and recognised as a charitable association. It teaches riding and vaulting on its own school horses, and members can sponsor a school horse through its patronage scheme. The club also offers livery stabling, use of the facility for members with their own horse, and clinics through the year. Beyond classic instruction it runs relaxation training, orientation rides and hobby-horsing sessions. Its own club show and open-arena days are fixtures of the local calendar.
