Litla Hesthús is a children's and youth riding school at Osterholz-Scharmbeck built entirely around Icelandic horses. Tuition runs in fixed small groups: the Isi-Kids group for children from about six years old and the Teenie-Teams for twelve- to sixteen-year-olds, each meeting on set weekday afternoons. Pupils groom and care for the ponies before and after riding, so stable management and fair handling are taught alongside the riding itself. Holiday care days, children's and youth activity days, summer camps and preparation for IPZV proficiency badges are also offered.
